Robots are the answer.

Every time people start freaking out about some coming labor crisis and cast aspersions on my decision not to reproduce, I just think about Japan. The increasing number of elderly Japanese will be assisted by robots. Of course, any SF fan knows that without proper programming and design, robots will destroy us all, but the Japanese are working on that too. (h/t)
