Some things never change

Should you send your daughter to Tulane? Tyler Cowen helpfully points out that "the renaissance ends at the edge of campus." That was always true; one of my main turnoffs from Tulane when I visited it in high school was the length and seriousness of the crime report in the student newspaper.
