Hella busy with work, will respond to Belle's latest missive soonest with much fire and table-pounding. In the meantime: I will find out in a couple of days if I can adopt this dog. Isn't he perfect? Except for his name. A friend suggests changing it to Jabberwocky, which I would call Wocky for short, which at least sounds like his current name but has its own drawbacks.
Cross your fingers that the animal shelter people will think I can be a fit dog mother! And think of good names, with bonus points for ones that sound sort of like the current one so he'll know he's being addressed.
