In the balance

My officemate just had his final evaluation. Mine is tomorrow. It doesn't matter that much how it goes, since we don't hear about offers for a couple of weeks and even if they get back to me ASAP it will almost certainly be while I am abroad. I am definitely glad to have worked at a law firm this summer, regardless of whether I make this my career. (I am especially happy to have ended up in D.C., an outcome that looked dubious at some points in the OCI process but which has yielded surprising benefits.)
