$27 Mistake

I never feel like I exfoliate enough and my aesthetician recommended this stuff from Clarins. Unfortunately, it makes me break out like a tenth grader. Any recs for a replacement? I currently scrub with a rough washcloth and Cetaphil, but that doesn't deep clean or remove dead skin cells.
