50 Book Challenge #22: The Man in the High Castle
Reading Dick is like attending a lecture by Charlie Nesson: the content changes markedly as certain substances metabolize. This was probably a more interesting post-WWII alternate history than Roth's, but it lost all cohesion at the end and the male protagonist seemed (like Roth's, but less so) annoyingly autobiographical. Verdict: meh.
